After reaching infinite castles, the price (a tool) is just too damn expensive to ever, ever be worth it! Why is that tool cost on there anyhow? Just remove it and its fair again, doesn't give too large a boost anyhow in the tool phase.

When you get to the Tool stage disable them - they were very briefly very powerful, very very powerful (what you see now is after many nerfings). There are many boosts that have short term value these are among them. Some have no current value.

You know you can toggle them right.

Also the price of a tool isn't really expensive at all, but there's no point in having it on after infinte castles.
