luksFormat does not say anything if YES was not entered #187

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Try to luksFormat a device
2. In "Are you sure? (Type uppercase yes): " type "yes" instead of "YES"

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

No output is generated that would suggest that the device didn't get formatted.
There should be some information about that.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Fedora 19, cryptsetup 1.6.2

Please provide any additional information below.

In case of a success, no direct message is printed either.

That's the way how unix command works, the exist code is set appropriately. If
you want more verbose output, use verbose argument (-v).
