EteSync permissions - Additional permissions required #200

I keep getting this message on my Android phone: 

EteSync permissions - Additional permissions required

I prefer to not provide EteSync access to my contacts, and as a result I keep getting the bothersome message about additional permissions. I can silence synchronization errors; however, I imagine I may miss synchronization errors related to my calendar.

Is there a way to make this error message go away without silencing important messages?
