Contacts not syncing from macOS contacts app #300

I created a bunch of contacts (100+) in the native contacts app on macOS. However, only 29 of them have made it into my EteSync account. I've tried restarting my computer and the etesync-dav.app process.

Questions (yes, I read the docs, but I think the docs are unclear):

1) Is there a way to force a manual sync on my macOS device? 2) Is there a way to view log/debug output for the etesync-dav.app process? 3) Is there a sync-interval for the etesync-dav.app process like there is for the Android app? If so, is it configurable?

Hopefully, with some help, I'll be able to share better info. I'm not sure where to start right now.

I deleted all my contacts, the account, and reconfigured it on macOS. Imported all 179 of my contacts. On the EteSync website, there are only 4 contacts imported.

@rbreslow Did you solve this? I am having a similar issue and wondering how to proceed to avoid data loss.

No. I'm working to move off EteSync because of broken behavior like this.

What will you replace it with?

Probably regular CardDAV.
