Two logins, Two calendars, two contacts #192

I changed to the 2.0. When I tried to log in with my new log in on my mobile device, EteSync did not recognize it. I tried to log in with my old log in with the old user name and password and it let me in, but then had me add a new account, which is really the old account. Now I have doubles of everything on my mobile device. Is it safe to delete the old account made under 1.0? I don't want to end up deleting all of my contacts and calendars by mistake. I'm NOT a techy just an individual interested in maintaining privacy, so what may be obvious to you is not to me.

One other question: how can I export my contacts and calendar should the need arise?

Thank you for your work.

I'm not sure what you mean by "had me add a new account which is really the old account". What device is it on? Android? iOS? Could you walk me step by step with what you did and what went wrong? Preferably as concise bullet points? Thanks!
