Contacts disappear from groups #267

In an issue reminiscent of https://github.com/etesync/android/issues/193, I am seeing contacts go missing from groups (labels).

I originally imported my contacts from Google, via the web interface, I believe. Sync to my phone (CalyxOS) worked great, and has continued to work as far as I know.

I recently started building labels in the CalyxOS contacts app and adding contacts to those labels. The labels are syncing to Etesync web, but contacts are being intermittently removed from the labels. In some cases, I will see in the change log that a group/label has 9 members, but the CalyxOS contacts app will show only two contacts in the group. In some cases the Etesync web interface shows the missing contacts; in some cases it doesn't.

The only other account attached to my CalyxOS contacts app is my gmail, but sync is turned off.

Sad to see this issue still persists after almost two years of me reporting it! For a paid app, etesync does not seem to be properly supported. As another example: For several years they have been saying they would implement app-based 2FA for etesync web access and yet they still have not done so. How can an app which markets itself and private and secure not have 2FA?
