minizip.lib can't be used on msvc8 (msvc 2005) projects :
3>fatal error C1047: The object or library file
'D:\libkml-1.1.0\third_party\zlib-1.2.3.win32\lib\minizip.lib' was created with 
an
older compiler than other objects; rebuild old objects and libraries
3>LINK : fatal error LNK1257: code generation failed
