• discord utilizes separate login and signup forms with differing formats. consider if the differences are enough to warrant separate components instead of using conditional rendering logic
• think about how the relationship between servers and channels will affect the routes (does the server list go away when a new channel is selected? how can this be reflected in the routes?)
