we had offers to get ac and they were ridiculously complicated/expensive. the difference between america and europe is (potentially) that they plan to have acs when constructing a house, not afterward retrofitted.

It's especially problematic as our building is under "monument protection" - so the outside part is really problematic. And I think we do not need a second sauna in our office ;-)
