EIP 1789 marketing idea to “meme”ify EIP 1789 and make it stick in peoples minds :

10 100 1000

10% inflation funding could bring in 100 million per year, which is 1000 developers working on the prtocol

equals:

10 100 1000

those are the numbers needed to make EIP 1789 work. imagine how much value 1000 developers working on ETH 2.0 / 1.x with full funding could create!

I like nice round numbers. I've been saying "I want to see a million developers building on Ethereum" for a while.
