AMD 5700XT Low Hashrate 3.5Mh/s #2237

Describe the bug When mining ethereum with an AMD 5700XT GPU, the actual performance does not exceed 3.6 Mh/s.

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Have opencl-amd 20.50 installed
  2. Run: ethminer -G -P stratum2+tcp://MY_BTC_ADDRESS.WORKERNAME@daggerhashimoto.usa.nicehash.com:3353 --cl-nobin --cl-devices 1
  3. Observe output: ethminer 0:00 A0 3.54 Mh - cl0 3.54

Expected behavior To perform at around 50Mh/s

Environment (please complete the following information):

Additional context The driver is opencl-amd 20.50. The GPU is using compute mode. GPU has more than enough power (750w PSU and GPU drawing 120w) and the thermals are good (around 60c).

Do you have more than one card? If you only have one card, the cl-devices option should be set to 0 (card 0).

So far as I know, ethminer doesn't include a kernel that fit for AMD 5700XT even in the latest release. So I wonder how could you make your GPU started to mine despite the low hashrate?
