What was wrong?

Improve the readability.

How was it fixed?

It's a little tricky with SimpleSerialization; currently I'm overriding __set_attr__ and __get_attribution__ as Mypy cheatsheet says.
Added some hint for state_transition.py, it can be improved with more customized annotations.
Fixed an old field name bug: epoch_number -> last_state_recalc.
