The main bid status line, e.g. " is not yet available," etc. doesn't respect established norms for web user interface interaction.
E.g. if an average, inexperienced user visits the ENS registrar Dapp page, the bid status line looks a lot like static text one might see in a news or blog article. There is no visual indication or hint that "this is where you should look to see important updates."
Suggest that the status info should be actively and at all times distinguished from the instructional text below it, perhaps by putting it in a box, with a bit of color contrast, and prefixed always with: "Bid Status:" or "Domain Status:"
