samajammin commented 4 years ago

Github: https://guides.github.com

Vue: https://vuejs.org

This site uses VuePress specifically: https://vuepress.vuejs.org

This VuePress issue may help you with the custom 404 page: https://github.com/vuejs/vuepress/issues/1178

Work has been started.

These users each claimed they can complete the work by 2 months, 1 week ago. Please review their action plans below:

1) iower has applied to start work _(Funders only: approve worker | reject worker)_.

For the 404 page: 1) Apply overall site theme - add header and footer 1.1) Use hints from https://github.com/vuejs/vuepress/issues/1178 1.2) Use docs for VuePress 1.1.0 2) Make cool page title: 44 3) Test for different screen sizes 2) jonas-kgomo has applied to start work _(Funders only: approve worker | reject worker)_.

I would like to create a well designed UI with

  1. Animation with 404 Ethereum logo
  2. Home navigation with an arrow
  3. Choose Language : Incase user does not understand instruction.
  4. Build Responsive and Aligned Logo 3) weezyana07 has applied to start work _(Funders only: approve worker | reject worker)_.

Will get on the task right away as soon as I get approval 4) pasanlive has applied to start work _(Funders only: approve worker | reject worker)_.

I'm looking forward do the styling to the 404 page. Please approve and I'll fix it. 5) abdut has applied to start work _(Funders only: approve worker | reject worker)_.

Provide a 404 page using HTML5, CSS3 and JS 6) ericramos1980 has applied to start work _(Funders only: approve worker | reject worker)_.

First I would say fork the repository and then I would look for issues trying to solve issues common and then I would commit to the issue and then I would comment 7) scydev has been approved to start work.

I have it running locally and am working to style that 404 page. 8) rasliche has applied to start work _(Funders only: approve worker | reject worker)_.

I think a 404 page is a very under-appreciated page on a website. It provides an opportunity to inform the user in a way that they didn't know they needed, and attention to detail on the 404 shows the user that, although they may have found a broken link, the site maintainers care about their experience.

With the rapid active development of Ethereum, and ethereum.org, it's certain that there are bad links out there on the web. I want to make an entertaining and informative page, with calls to action, that also represents the spirit of the Ethereum community and project.

Some source of inspiration for me are: The github.com/404 and Heyzap's 404

I think a good mix of helpful navigation, humanity, and some whimsical, yet simple, visualization of the Ethereum network (live, if a connection is present) would be the best way forward. 9) neospu has applied to start work _(Funders only: approve worker | reject worker)_.

Hi, All! I've resolved this issue (#276). There's a pull-request from my branch (https://github.com/NeoSPU/ethereum-org-website/pull/new/neoSPU-276). If you need it in the future, I'll able to be made some corrected by the design of the 404 Page! Thx! 10) ashokk1990 has applied to start work _(Funders only: approve worker | reject worker)_.

I can style 404 page. I have done this kind of work before. 11) akanimorex has applied to start work _(Funders only: approve worker | reject worker)_.

i can style this using css3 and mediaqueries to make it responsive to all screen sizes.cool PNGs to make it look cooler.can't wait to begin 12) henkholveck has applied to start work _(Funders only: approve worker | reject worker)_.

Have styled very creative/funny 404 pages in the past. 13) orphanum has applied to start work _(Funders only: approve worker | reject worker)_.

If I am to solve this job, I'll make a 404.vue template that can be routed to, in case of a 404 error. I'll provide custom styling to make it comical/whimsical.

Do you want a specific string shown, or should I add something? 14) ianlapham has applied to start work _(Funders only: approve worker | reject worker)_.

Hi!

I'd love to help you out with your website styling. I'm a senior engineer at Uniswap and have built most of the https://uniswap.exchange/swap site. I have a ton fo experience with css, javascript and React.

We have our own 404 page that we can model off of, I also like Github's 404 page, and the 0x page has a good one as well. I can send you a couple options to choose from.

I'll also make sure it's mobile responsive and works on all browsers.

I can design the UI of the 404 page which would guide the developer on what to work towards.

At least the design would serve as a guide for the developer.
