Hey @emmanuel-awosika! Apologies that this one slipped through. I think having more information about this would be valuable and could see it having it's own page. Were you still interested in working on this topic?

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
The Ethereum.org homepage has a use-case for a "permissionless DNS", but no dedicated use-case page for it.
Describe the solution you'd like
Create a new "Decentralized domain naming systems (dDNS)" use-case page. I suggest creating a new use-case page for decentralized domain naming. The big idea is to show I think it's a good use-case to highlight. Not everyone knows how DNS works, but at least they understand and have seen examples of sites getting knocked offline or governments banning platforms--so a decentralized DNS would make sense.
Provide a general introduction to the traditional domain naming system (DNS) and how it powers the Internet. We could explain how this process is centralized (ICANN controls domain registration and management, for example) and relies on centralized infrastructure, which has implications for DNS-based websites.
Explain how the current (centralized) DNS architecture has problems and how public blockchains, like Ethereum, can solve it. A section would likely cover the Ethereum Name Service. Then we could discuss applications of dDNS, like easier crypto payments, censorship-resistant websites, reduced server downtimes, self-custodial social domains, etc.
Highlight tools, like Unstoppable Domains and ENS that help users take advantage of this use-case.
Describe alternatives you've considered
Considered adding this use-case to the Web2 vs Web3 or Intro to dapps sections, but I think it deserves a dedicated page.
Additional context
I’m willing to help start off things on creating the page if the idea is something Ethereum.org wants to explore.
