I am sad to see that this project became deprecated. Can I ask what happened actually ?

If you want to rapidly create a private blockchain network with ethereumj just take a look at recordins.com or go to repo: https://github.com/recordins/recordin.git

We're lacking resources to maintain this project. If you have some and willing to contribute we will be glad to assist you in supporting this one!

You have following options that could be used instead (depending on your purpose):

Hi we are a young company and have the scale to maintain our Java ORM/security layer built on top of EthereumJ, but not the entire library for the moment.

In such case, we must also involve former top maintainers to remain efficient. Just a question, are you ready to move to Switzerland to continue on this project ?
