Mist not using Installer location that was specified at install when going to Accounts -> Backup #1664

OS & Version: Windows 7
Node type: `eth/geth(default)`

I had an old previous install that was on the C:\ drive. But I recently installed the new mist and chose my D: drive as the default location. When I open Mist it goes to the old C: folder. After I deleted that folder, and now clicking backup accounts, nothing happens at all, explorer does not open, no error message.

Hi there and thanks for the bug report. When you open Mist, where are you doing that from? i.e. Desktop shortcut, Start Menu, etc.?

Because Mist & Geth do not currently support configuration files, support is not yet as robust as we'd like for custom paths. The current solution primarily updates Mist shortcut links to use custom parameters. Therefore, if you launch Mist in a different way (i.e. directly launching with no parameters) it's possible it launches and looks in the old location.
