Keep getting couldn't connect to node

17 days and no response yet to this issue.

Unable to get Ethereum wallet to work on my PC and it used to work. Keeps saying couldn't connect to node? See the logs for more.

Here is what I found in node files. I'm having this same issue. Was this resolved?

No. Its a bug with geth. I used parity instead of geth to do the block chain. There is a video on youtube. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zOo3_aSXoZE&t=1s
