Can you fill out the system information properly so that I could understand what OS you are on?
Usually, I've not seen an issue with entering the fields. If there are issues like the one you mention it might be because another 'modal' window is open (maybe it's the download upgrade). Or maybe it has just become unresponsive.
Could you restart the app and then see if there is an issue? In any case, you should ideally also upgrade to the latest.
Alex supported me until a few days ago.Opened issue No. 2378. It's from Friday 6-2-17 that I have no more contact. My Vallet is blocked. I can not make transfers! Please help me. thank you I forward you the e-mails exchanged with Mist support. Contain the information you need. regardes Luigi

Hi,
How to properly "Download new version." without risk of compromising my Vallet ?.
1 - start the downlod new version
2 – Sroll down the page and select "Ethereum-Wallet-win63-0-8-10-zip (it's my PC). Correct?.
3 - at the donwload end, have i just to start the application and my Vallet appears?.
If this is not correct, can you please drive me step by step?

The important thing in all of this is the keystore file and your password. Ensure you back these up.
To check and use your ethereum wallet, you can also use myetherwallet.com. Use the 'keystore file (utc/json)' to load the keystore file, enter your password and you will be able to use your account just the same. Once you are sure that this works, you can upgrade your ethereum-wallet/mist without fear. Again, remember that backing up your keystore file and your password is very important - once you have that, there are multiple tools you can use to access your account.
Hi Sathishvj i connected to Myvallet.com , on the hom page i selected " send Ether & Token,click on keystore file- select the vallet file insite the keystore - paswoerd - unlok vallet, and appears the correct vallet address but balance is zero Ether inside 45,77. !!??. see atachet file please. It is my mistake in the application accessin or wath!??. i never do any whithdraval till now.. it is no possible see account balance equal to ZERO!! waiting for your replay please. regardes luigi

Honestly, what you are saying isn't very clear. So it's difficult to give proper advice.
But if you put your address here: etherscan.io/address/0x... That should show you the actual balance in the account. If it shows 0, then there is no balance.
The page will also show the transactions in and out of the account.

In any case, if you are able to access it on MEW your account and balance is as it is expected to be. And if your issue is resolved, you can close this.

If, as you said, the account has the correct balance, then it is good so far. First make sure that you backup your keystore file and remember your password. If you have those, you will always be able to recover the account or use it on another client (say like myetherwallet.com).
Meanwhile, I am not an official team member. And you shouldn't be sending me or any other person any information to unauthorized emails. Respond and interact with the team only here and/or on official channels.
We are reviewing at old unanswered issues, sorry it took so long to reach yours, it's a long backlog.
Hey Luigi, I don't remember this issue but it's very hard to understand the problem with your description. I hope you have solved it with MEW as you stated. I am closing this issue due to inactivity. Please feel free to reopen should you still have some considerations about it.
Hi, I wanted to transfer some Ether from my Ethereum Vallet Mist to Kraken but I could not. In my vallet, after selecting "SEND" it does not allow me to copy the destination address provided by Kraken (Funding-Deposit-Ether(ETH)- generate new address). And it does not even allow me to type it by hand. In practice I can not make transfers. Note: when I connect to my Vallet, the call to "down load upgrade" appears (see attached figure). I did not understand how to proceed for this up-grade. Perhaps is this why I am not allowed to withdraw from my Vallet?. I’m worried! Can you help me please ?. Thank you Luigi luigi48b@gmail.com
