Ether from Gatehub never showed up in my Ethereum Mist Walllet #2430

Here is my transactionID https://etherscan.io/address/0x0FC0dBC2cE513DC19C4080976646dF8804178b2d I am not sure if this is still pending or if it shows it was sent, please help.

I did not resee the eth in my wallet Mist.

To me the same happened to me, I did not get to the wallet of ether mist, the transaction appears in my wallet jaxx and in the etherscan.io/address. But not in the ether mist wallet.

@wealthjustin That is your account address, not the transaction id. Put the transaction id instead.

@BitmanLatam I've answered your question in other threads.

I was able to retrieve my funds using myetherwallet....it seems the Mist Wallet never fully loaded it just keeps restarting and never finishing sync/block download....I have new windows installed plus new Mist Wallet, why is it not installing? I believe thats what prevents me from viewing my ETH balance.

Let me know best way to finish installing Mist.

@wealthjustin Mist is installed in your computer already, but it has to sync the network state to your computer first. Showing local data is the most secure way to access the ethereum blockchain today, and there are many efforts to make this waiting shorter in the following versions.

When will it sync do I have to just leave it open? It never finishes loading...

It does take some time to sync a full node and will depend on general network things like speed, connectivity and also specific things like whether you have peers you've connected to.

If you check "Develop->Show log file", do you see any specific issues though? If there aren't any, it's likely just that it takes longer.

I don't know enough yet to help you with this. Maybe you can open another thread.

Meanwhile, maybe you can delete the existing chain data and restart a sync. Please remember to backup your accounts always.

Ok thanks, how can I delete existing chain data and restart maybe you can help me with that and properly backing up...I saved all files and put in a different folder would that make sure my account is backed up?

Can the mist issue be resolved or do I have to use my ether wallet in it's place?

Leave it open until you finish loading the bottom left bar barely reaches 100% and you get the Ethers
