Version: Ethereum Wallet `0.8.10`
OS & Version: OS X (10.11.6)
Node type: `1.6.5 (go)`
There was a similar issue on Windows nodes, but this is macOS.
Ethereum Wallet doesn't recognize system clock synchronization via chrony; instead it believes that macOS time is not synchronized, because the box "Set date and time automatically" is not ticked in System Preferences. Nonetheless Ethereum Wallet launches & connects fine, so it's probably just an issue to get rid of the false error message, i.e. check for date & time synchronization other than the system default (like chrony).
