Transactions not going through saying not enough gas when not true #2937

OS & Version: osx
Node type: `eth`
Number of blocks synchronized: 4,155,045

I have been trying to make a number of transactions, either to a contract, or even from my wallet to my ether base wallet both within Mist. When I try and confirm the transaction, the eth amount does not update in ethvalue, and just says 0.00. When I put in my password to confirm the transaction anyway I get an error saying not enough gas/value, even though I have enough eth to send. I tried this mulitple times with multiple amounts sending as low as 5 USD still recieving the same error. it simply shows 0.00 being sent and "not enough gas/value" error.

I am having this problem as well. I cannot even send between wallets or contracts within my Ethereum Wallet. I can receive fine.

I'm having this issue on 0.9.1.

Same problem, months later. Yet Ethereum is worth how much? Extremely disappointed and will put my money elsewhere... I'm a developer coming late to the party, was super gung ho about what ethereum claimed to be, but have experienced nothing but problems.

No more money is going in my wallet that's for damn sure.

v 0.9.3 on Mac using light client syncing which sort of works, but often doesn't and shows $0.0 balance when it doesn't sync, because that;s not disconcerting at all. Trans # 0xff8deea92dc5b98734d0890c518cf0313b915d10c0e0be2495905c0c308c1edb 3 days ago!! 21,000 gas used 0.000021 ETHER

When I picked the slowest option it said an hour, not 3 days. The idea that miners can simply ignore transactions as they feel like it seems a major design flaw.

Maybe I'm missing something? I welcome a reply and some help. I understand the team is probably too busy partying with the millions they've made to care. What can I say, but good for you, precidely why ethereum won't make it... That actually takes well designed AND implemented ideas.
