Wanted to bring attention to EIP-7742: https://github.com/ethereum/EIPs/pull/8735

I am not sure if I will be able to make this call. If I can, I'll give a short overview of the EIP. If not, I'll ask client teams to take a look.

It's a small change and I would suggest Pectra inclusion. There's some uncertainty around PeerDAS and blob count increase timelines IMO and if we end up not touching that in Pectra then I think delaying this particular EIP until the next hard fork would be fine.

The proposal, reduces work required to manage DOS, enables new use-cases and supports ephemeral SCAs.
