Ptam indigo memory issues. #88

Hello, I am using ethzasl-ptam in ros indigo for my work, the problem is that somehow a lot of memory is being used up, even after I reset ptam at every iteration, when I run it again, the RAM keeps filling up. I have already restricted the maximum number of key-frames to 20, and tested on a 16GB RAM machine. Any ideas if this is a ptam problem or indigo problem? Thanks

Hi,

We run PTAM for quite some time (although <1h) and did not see this issue. That said, it is possible that the code has a memory hole. The last time we verified this is ages ago. So your best bet is to use valgrind and check for memory holes.

Hope this helps.

Best,

Stephan
