Is the update/to come of January 2019 already processed? It looks like it has since many commits and merges have taken place already.

To Come (by end of January 2019)

Local Planning
    Improved goal selection
    Support for global and local coordinate frames
RVIZ Planning Plugin
    Support for entering multiple waypoints

Working on it now, hopefully in the next 1-2 weeks. :( Got very delayed with finishing my PhD and project deadlines. Keep asking to keep me motivated. ;)

Hopefully finishing your PhD went well (/ maybe still is going well), good luck with the work on voxblox!

@jvdgoltz @kornee-mainblades as of this Sunday, https://github.com/ethz-asl/mav_voxblox_planning/pull/40 has most of the stuff! Note the 2 TODOs in the PR description. Doing platform experiments the next 2 days, so may improve it quite a bit more still... Try it out and give me some feedback!
