Odometry accuracy depends on scene depth? #230

The problem is that odometry will move much faster than ground truth in a narrow scene (obstacles are about 50cm to the camera). And the problem just happens in translation, rotation is good. Odometry is also good in a broader scene (obstacles are about 2m to the camera). Can anyone help to figure out why does this happen? Many thanks!
