Error running plugin qtype_lti on Moodle v3.11.2+ (Build: 20210812) #2

Hi,

I've como across an error while running plugin qtype_lti, version 0.3 for Moodle 3.5+ (2020061100), on Moodle v3.11.2+ (Build: 20210812).

Environment:

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Navigate to a course page
  2. Navigate to Course administration > Question bank
  3. On Questions tab, select Create new question ...
  4. From menu Choose a question type to add, select option External question type (ETH) and click Add button
  5. The error message: Coding error detected, it must be fixed by a programmer: Unknown question type qtype_lti is displayed: qtype_lti
  6. Purged all caches: Development > Purge caches > Purge all caches
  7. Repeated steps 1. to 4. and got the same error message

Steps to mitigate

Could You please advise on what could be the cause for this behaviour and/or what else could I do to troubleshoot this issue?

Hi, you seem to have downloaded from the release section on github. For the latest version, please use Master branch and click on download. We usually make the release once we are happy about the latest updates and features added. Also please make sure to successfully install the plugin (moodle/admin/).

please report back how it goes (and if error is encountered, please enable debugging and share the actual error)

Hi,

Thank You for the quick reply. I have downloaded the plugin version in master branch (release = '0.4 for Moodle 3.5+' / version = 2021080302) and am now able to create new questions throught a course's question bank.

SIDE NOTE: The latest package in the release section sates that the latest version (May 25) is 0.3. However, the version.php file for that package states that version is 0.4
