Developers often store pre-rendered PDF vignettes in the vignettes/ folder, for example when they cannot be built easily on CRAN. We should link to those files in the sidebar.
This PR makes it work for mkdocs and docsify. I can't figure out how to link to static files in Docute because it always seems to add a .md extension to whatever link I insert in the sidebar.
Quarto might work, but I'm running into another problem in the package I am trying this with, and I'm not sure if it's related or a different issue.
