I propose you run the generateJooq
task from the cmd line and configure Gradle with enough debug information to see the actual cmd line invocation of the code generation tool. That will tell you what libraries you are missing on the classpath. My guess is that jakarta.persistence:jakarta.persistence-api:3.1.0
does not contain the class jakarta.transaction.SystemException
.

I want to start by thanking you for the work you put into this tool! I'm trying to use the last version of the plugin with Kotlin DSL using the JPADatabase. I followed the instructions and separated the entities into a different subproject, added the JAXB and Jakarta as dependencies to the plugin but with no success.
