etmc / tmLQCD

tmLQCD is a freely available software suite providing a set of tools to be used in lattice QCD simulations. This is mainly a HMC implementation (including PHMC and RHMC) for Wilson, Wilson Clover and Wilson twisted mass fermions and inverter for different versions of the Dirac operator. The code is fully parallelised and ships with optimisations for various modern architectures, such as commodity PC clusters and the Blue Gene family.

add CITATION.cff file #558

Closed kostrzewa closed 1 year ago

This adds a CITATION.cff file (https://citation-file-format.github.io/) to help with the visibility of our references.

I've added authors in order of of contribution from (https://github.com/etmc/tmLQCD/graphs/contributors) for those who have github accounts associated with their work here or those who have recently contributed to the GPU push. The remaining contributors are listed in alphabetical order (I hope).

The CITATION.cff includes e-mail addresses and ORCID identifiers. Please check if you're okay with that.

@sbacchio @Finkenrath should we also add the two DDalphaAMG publications? I mean:

Hi @kostrzewa, thank you for putting this list together. Looks nice. I would appreciate if also DDalphaAMG's references are added.

@sbacchio Anything that you'd like to see beyond the two references that I've added now?

The resulting bibtex file is a bit disappointing in that the DOIs from the "permanent identifiers" section do not appear in the bibtex, but I've at least added all of them as a comma-separated list in the global "doi" field.
