screen glitch on ubuntu 22.04 #42

emma02 i just started cosmac vip with the default config and then this hapenned. this is my emma02 window: emmaconf

Sorry for my late reply...

Your settings look ok, I just tried the same on my ubuntu 20.04 and it works fine. Might be a bug in your Emma 02 version or problem on 22.04.

Can you try installing the latest beta version: https://github.com/etxmato/emma_02_installation/raw/main/v1.47.6/emma_02_x64.deb

or arm: https://github.com/etxmato/emma_02_installation/raw/main/v1.47.6/emma_02_arm.deb

If that doesn't work then I'll create a 22.04 ubuntu machine on my side. I don't always take the latest updates as they tend to crash my virtual installations.

I can confirm this is still an issue with KDE Neon even with 1.47.6 -- it seems like an SDL problem but it does work. It is just ugly ;-)

It appears to be something wrong with the GNOME theme (I'm on KDE but have themes for GNOME installed). Putting on default works OK until something forces a redraw. Curiously putting it on "emacs" works although when a redraw event occurs you see hash for a second and then it recovers.
