Crashes on Mavericks GM (13A598) #381

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 8 years ago

Launch application, a window pops up with the spinning spoke, then immediate
crash.

Seems to be same issue as Bug 357.

Looks mostly like a Mavericks bug as far as I can tell. Try reporting it to
Apple.

Same issue here. Given that Mavericks seems to be working error-free with every
other application I have on my Mac, I suspect the crash is due to an issue that
needs correcting in Xee, not in the OS. By any chance does Xee3 use any
unofficial Apple frameworks or methods?

We're probably days away from the public launch of Mavericks. If the developer
is waiting until then to begin testing this app against the new OS that's a
disservice to his customers.

Also, does anybody have access to the app store version to test if it works or
not?

Oh, looking closer, looks like another Paddle framework bug.

Just got a response back from paddle, they seem to have a fix. I'll try to get
it pushed out tonight or tomorrow.

Ok, 3.1.1 has been released. Can someone confirm it works?

Gah. Are you sure you're getting the right version? And is it the same crash
log as before?

Yeah. I purchased the version off the App Store, works fine. Trashed the App
Store version using App Cleaner, flushed the trash. Downloaded the link that
was posted, installed it, and it crashes on startup again. I thought I
attached a log file, but I don't see it on the message, so I'll attach it again.

Oh well. Back to Paddle it goes, then.

Well, I just installed Mavericks, and I can not reproduce this crash. Could
somebody confirm if it still happens with 3.1.1 and the released Mavericks
version?
