"Open Recents" item in "File" menù doesn't work #382

I use Xee (the version not purchased from the App store) on OS X 10.8.5
The item "Open Recent" from the "File" menu doesn't list recent files.
The list is always empty

I should probably just remember to remove that menu. It does not really work 
well together with Xee anyway.
