Should explain what is a valid email format.

Downgraded severity from medium to very low.

While it is not stated in the UG, when the user keys in an invalid email format in the app, the user will be prompted with what is a valid email format. Thus, this does not affect the usage at all.

Seen above, the PE guidelines state that severity.VeryLow is purely cosmetic and does not affect usage. Looking at the UG itself, a user will want to know the definition of what a valid email address is. This is not that users or readers want it to look better or take issue with the formatting/structure of the UG, but rather they want to know the functionality aspect of what a valid email is. Therefore, this should NOT be considered a purely cosmetic issue.

Instead, it should either be a severity Medium or severity Low. This is because it obviously affects how users will use the application - whether or not they can use the email format allowed by the application. If they enter it wrongly because they don't know the exactly correct email format, then it brings them inconvenience. As to how often this occurs, it really depends on the user. However, it cannot be denied that this indeed brings inconvenience to the user, and so it is either a Medium or Low severity.

It also fits the bill that users can still continue using the product, and error messages might guide them to enter a correct format, but that is only after the inconvenience of entering it wrongly the earlier time around. Since users can still use the app, it should not be severity High.
