naming conventions for platforms and instruments? #21

Hi, I was wondering whether we could use the naming conventions for the platform and instrument IDs as stated in the meta data file also in the intake catalog, i.e. cat.HALO.specMACS instead of cat.halo.specmacs. What do you think about that?
