please use the same time format (yyyy-mm-dd) for both variables please change the unit on the chart to mm/day instead of mm d^-1 please include in both RACE and TRILATERAL

All three points were addressed. Changes of the YAML and MDs needed so that we can merge this PR - cc @FedericoRondoni
