January 24 fixes for upcoming demos

dear all, here is a list of small bugs and issues (and some small feature requests) I observed with the new UI. As we have two demos this week it would be great if we could implement most of them.

• [x] default pan/zoom level for explore mode: when map view is opened and when a tool is selected, maintain this pan/zoom level:

  • exact zoom can't be matched as it depends on the device accessing the platform, extent used for matching has been updated to better match austria's extent
• [x] would it be possible that when a user is in the explore mode, and clicks again on the explore mode button on top right mini menu, that the explore mode is fully reset? this would be super helpful for live demos
• [x] micro hydropower, odd behavior: if one uses first the (regular) hydro power tools (e.g. Hydropower SWE daily) and then selects the "Micro Hydropower" tools, then UI gets stuck at the highest zoom level and does not allow to zoom in further
  • edit Lubo can not reproduce anymore, please let us know if you can still experience it
• [x] For all energy tools:
• do not activate wind turbine overlay layer by default
• do (!) activate power infrastructure map by default --> One exception: wind turbine detection: deactivate by default
• [x] The info buttons are currently not visible anywhere – we need them back!
  • Lubo update - the previous content is now in the Information Panel under a expandable section •they are there for the wind energy layers but this seems to be an exception and most other layers lack the info buttons
• [x] Hydropower tools – all with time series graph: in the time series use different marker symbol for S1 vs S2 observations (previously requested)
• [x] hydropower timeseries graphs: when zoomed into the graph, on clicks on one of the TS markers, the zoom is reset to default, which should be avoided (reported previously)
• [ ] Hydropower SWE monthly: activate “EODC Sentinel 1 VV Polarisation” basemap by default (zoom level >=12.5 otherwise not visible)
  • Lubo update - this tool has no map info (matched to data from DB), so with current implementation, it is not possible to change baselayers, mitigated the disappearing of terrain light by allowing to display over layer maxZoom 16, a larger update needed to allow editting baselayers and overlays where no other analysis layer is shown. REP4_2
• [x] Hydro: remove masking layer (see example in screenshot below), that adds a semi transparent black mask over the area outside of the hydro reservoir. Instead replace with simple outline of hydro reservoir

• [x] Micro hydropower: activate Geoland Basemap Gelände basemap by default
• [ ] add a "zoom to full extent" button next to the general controls (zoom in/out) that takes the view back to: ?x=1344562.25544&y=6055060.82575&z=7.9 (maybe doable ad hoc? Otherwise move to list below)
• [x] Create report function currently does not produce a report, the wheel indicates that the report is being produced, but when it completes, not download is initiated
  • comment Lubo: Could not reproduce, download works for me now
• [x] Cities, "Existing photovoltaic panels", currently only two Background Layers are available, this is not ideal, most of the ones from the wind energy tools should also be available here!
• [x] Cities: "Existing photovoltaic panels" the legend indicated existing PV roofs in Green, but the map uses magenta instead
  • Legend was wrong, has been updated
• [x] Company Logos have fallen out of most of the tools.. E.g. DHI is only visible in the "Hydropower WSE Monthly" tool - this needs to be restored to previous state.
• [x] EO Adaptation Services > "Biomass Tools": rename to "Forest Analysis"

(Small) Feature Requests:

1. Wind turbine detection: filter by confidence! user can set confidence threshold and the displayed detections are filtered accordingly
2. Solar energy: enable split views e.g. for different solar energy seasonal estimates.
3. Energy tools: for excluded protected areas, show PA boundaries and keep them visible (e.g. green outlines)

Within "Green Roofs" tool while displaying whatever data layer and selecting an administrative unit, the graph obtained in the Analysis panel is always the same (existing green roofs vs potential, which is ok), but the title of the graph takes the layer name (e.g., Max LST) which is misleading. ->to remove layer dependency on graph title
