LaTeX layout tweaks

1) Such reference is badly layout with large spaces:

2) Maybe it would be nice to add a way to specify units and use a latex package for this purpose.

3) should we tweak orphan line and so on?

You may submit your contribution as is, we'll try to improve the layout issues afterwards.

With respect to units, please do not use additional packages as it would be more trouble in the end.

Also it misses an non-breaking space between "figure" and the reference. For example:

figure \DUrole{ref}{sheared-mosaic} -> figure~\DUrole{ref}{sheared-mosaic}

There is no way to handle no breaking space in rst.
