Venue investigation #5

Let's find out what are the possible venues, where they are, their capacity and their cost.

I've added an xls file to the repo, but we could also host it in google docs.

For some reason I had counted 19 for ΣΓΤ but it doesn't make any difference anyway. Other than that I verify it.

Voting is over, I'm sending an email to the girls in order to learn venue availabilities, in order of preference, for:

  1. Badminton
  2. Στέγη Γραμμάτων και Τεχνών
  3. Palace

for the following dates, again in order of preference:

  1. 24-25/05
  2. 14-15/06
  3. 28-29/06

Everyone, this is a discussion (and a voting process) for the Venues. Refrain from discussing other issues (such as insurance). There is another issue for insurance, how did you end up discussing it in here?

@nikosd yes, if you have time, check the final results.

Does it make sense to close this since it's called "Invesigation" and open another clean one with something like "Venue selection" or do we want to keep this one?

As soon as we get the date availabilities back from the girls I will post them here and close this issue.

This issue was about "Venue investigation". Since we got all data and reached a shortlist we are done. A new issue on "Venue selection" is more appropriate to elaborate on the pros and cons of each venue and then hold another vote or something.

Better yet, I hope we reach a consensus on Wednesday's meetup and avoid the bureaucracy of a 2nd voting.

For the record the following venues are available:

  1. 24-25/05: Στέγη Γραμμάτων και Τεχνών, Palace
  2. 14-15/06: -
  3. 28-29/06: Στέγη Γραμμάτων και Τεχνών, Badminton

ΣΓΤ hasn't confirmed its availability for 14-15/06 or 28/29/06.

Palace and Badminton are available only on the aforementioned dates.

UPDATE: Made a small mistake, confused ΣΤΓ with Palace. Fixed. UPDATE2: Added the final dates confirmed by ΣΤΤ.
