openrgb not working #2

hi there! i've flashed my keyboard with the firmware and it works great, however openrgb doesn't detect my keyboard even after putting the vid and pid in the configs. I was wondering if there's anything specific that i needed to do to enable openrgb support maybe a specific build of qmk? (i used yours)

ok so, i've narrowed it down to the lack of OPENRGB_ENABLE = YES in the rules.mk I have added it but still nothing. I presume there's something else missing
