In both the Spin_Spin and Vortex_Vortex correlators the arguments of L.correlation are named after the way the mathematical expressions look, rather than the physical content. We should rename
Spin_Spin
Vortex_Vortex
L.correlation
exp_i_phi --> spin_operator = np.exp(1.j * phi)
exp --> vortex_operator = np.exp(2j*np.pi * v / S.W)
maybe without the _operator?
