How to handle missed Fill ups #57

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Have someone else fill up the car and not record cost/gallons/Mileage

Expected behavior:
Have a button that says, Missing Previous Fillup.

Actual behavior:
Can this be accomplished with the Partial Fillup somehow?

Mileage version:3.1.1
Android version:4.0.4
Device: Samsung Galaxy S3

Please provide any additional information below.

Would love a feature to accommodate this! Gaps in data create bad
calculations. Great app otherwise.

Huge missing feature! Seems like you could just tell it missing fill up & it
would either restart the average MPG or use the current average MPG to fill in
the gap.

Agreed. This is the only downside of this app. The app needs a button to push
on the next fill-up that says "Did not enter last-fill-up" This then does not
calculate MPG for this entry since mileage is unknown. I thought this was
there when I saw the reset calculations column in the database fields, but I
don't think it does anything right now.
