Review page options should stick around

When review a change to a particular file, i.e. looking at a diff, there are 
some options at the top: Columns, Syntax Coloring, Whitespace Errors, etc.  
They're great, but they reset when you go to a different page.  I'd very much 
like them to stay around in some way.  Some possible solutions include:

* Always remember the last state
* Add a checkbox to say "save these options as the default" (don't like this 
that much)
* Add some per-user preferences that let you change the defaults

Along the same lines, it'd be nice to be able to default to unified diff 
instead of side-by-side, if you want to.  This isn't nearly as big a deal 
though. 

My apologies if there's already an issue for this or some other way to do it, I 
looked but didn't see anything.
