Update reference to union types to custom types #58

I've updated the link and text for the reference to union types to the new preferred term custom types. It appears that the previous link was dead so this should help improve those reading the library docs however I would suggest considering creating a dummy page for union types to point to the new custom types documentation or just do it as a redirect for those who may have bookmarks to this documentation resource.

Ah, good idea! Changing it here won't change it on the package website though, so I added a redirect in the guide to fix this link and any other links like it out there. Thanks for the suggestion!
