ability to change the chrome omnibar shortcut key from asterisk #60

I have in the past been able to change the shortcut key from '*' to 'b' in the past. Having switched to a new computer I am unable to alter the key in the chrome "manage search engines" window. How do I change it to 'b'?

From what I can tell, it doesn't seem possible to edit keywords for search engines managed by extensions anymore. I am on Chrome for Mac version 40.0.2214.93.

I can't change the shortcut key with neater bookmarks in Version 40.0.2214.94 m (64-bit).

seems like it would need to be an option in the extension config

so.. now that it's been over a year, I guess it is time to fork and create my own neater-bookmarks using 'b' instead of '*' for search.
