In general, if there haven't been any changes to the tzdb project that either resulted in a new zone being created or a zone being moved to the backward file within the tzdb repository, then there typically isn't a need to make a new release unless some major OpenStreetMap change has occurred. As such, with #106 it seems like it would make sense to make a release for 2020e. 2020f and 2021a don't seem to have any changes in them that should trigger a new release from this project.
Thank you for your assistance!!
@evansiroky I have implemented the timezone API in my code with tz boundary builder and the timezone shapefiles from this repo has been of great help. I noticed that the latest shapefile release on this repo is - 2020d (6 Nov 2020) but the IANA timezone database was updated on 2021-01-24 which is named as 2021a. I would like to know if there's any ongoing/upcoming plan to release shapefile for the latest IANA release (2021a).
