Hi @jucor -- thanks for the suggestion. I would love to be able to make batch processing possible! I'm not sure how difficult it would be to pull off, but I suspect you're right that some client-side scripting (outside of Apps Script) would be required. I'm in the midst of a move now, but will spend some time thinking about this. If you have any suggestions, feel free to contact me via this bug or via email.
Also, Obsidian looks very cool -- I'll have to check that out. How are you using it?
If someone would like to investigate batch processing, I'm open to discussion, but I don't have time to pursue this myself right now.
Thanks @evbacher for your open-mindedness and having considered it :) I have never gotten around to using Obsidian full-blown, in part because of the migration hassle :/ I know where to find this repo if I ever get around to biting the bullet!
I'm still curious -- so I did a bit of poking around. There's some information and a batch library that might provide some clues. See http://patt0.blogspot.com/2014/08/continuous-batch-library-update-for.html for a blog post and https://gist.github.com/patt0/8395003 for some code. I have not tried any of this out, but it does look interesting.
Honestly, I gave up on transferring for now, it's a huge task and I haven't found the dream tool yet, so not worth the endeavour :/

Hi @evbacher
Thanks for the great tool :) Do you think there would be a way (with some user-side scripting if needs be) to use it in batch-mode, to convert a lot of GDocs in one go and save each one to a markdown file? Use case: importing lots of notes from Google Docs to Obsidian.md. Would be very helpful! Thanks for any idea!
