Testing the fix…

runner log
the above workflow is nearly identical to the target workflow deploy-to-cafe.yml except no PR was created
the branch was successfully created: updates-from-barista-May-01-20.17

@tn3rb there is a rogue branch in Cafe repo, it should probably be removed but I'll defer that decision to you. As you can see, it does not have a PR associated with it:

The branch as the top updates-from-barista-May-01-20.17 is from this PR (testing fix) and can be removed once this PR is merged.

That was my initial thought actually. I guess we can only speculate at this point because the issue came from the GitHub's environment and not our code.
