[DevOps] Please help with deployment to DO #7916

Good Morning, I've been trying to deploy to DO (i followed the wiki on the k8s deployment route) but no luck.

I'm a freelancing frontend dev but 0 experience with DevOps and/or cloud architecture/orchestration so this is super overwhelming.

As aforementioned, I followed the steps, but I think the issue is with how i set my .env variables. Also having issues with getting github workflows to run properly.

I am happy to pay for your time in this matter, and also interested in white-labelling this software if you are interested.

Kind regards.

Hi @DavidDragan1 , can you provide a bit more details about the difficulties you have? I agree for someone without much of DevOps it might be complicated, however we can try to help you, especially if you try to deploy to DO as we partner with DigitalOcean :)

For example, for GitHub actions, did you defined relevant secrets? Basically check all secrets that are used in the GitHub Actions and make sure you defined those with good / correct values (not all are required, but some yes).

Re white-labelling, it is fully possible, but the cost would be for now same as outlined in https://gauzy.co/pricing (unless you have a lot of customers of course). Basically what we suggest is to use 99$ one-time payment offer which will allow you to ship MODIFIED Gauzy code to some company with less than 10 employees (and pay us 5$ per any additional employee). So say you get 20 customers for Gauzy platform (20 different small companies), you can ask each of them to buy a license from us (one time) and they can use your modified code. Or we can allow you to buy such license from us (i.e. you pay us 99$) and you resell it to ONE company. From our perspective, we don't really care how much you charge / how many clients you get, as long as it's one company with up to 10 employees = 99$ paid to us + 5$ per employee per month.

We do offer one company with an unlimited employees license too and it costs 199$ (but this time it's MONTHLY cost) and you can use the code, modify it for that company and resell (to ONE company! I.e. each company will cost 199$ per month license fees), etc.

Essentially above is how we think about Gauzy's "while-labeling" pricing strategy.

Re paid for our time - we prefer to give you free support in public as others benefit from it too. If you will need to hire our DevOps, afraid the best offer at the moment we can do would be 120$ per hour (and I will have to help you myself because our other engineers are overloaded already). Again, would prefer to provide help for free here as it benefit others a lot!
