The Parliamentary Handbook has a list of all members of the House and Senate since 1901:

@henare Did OpenAustralia ever scrape this? Doesn't look like it wouldn't be too tricky, other than a few oddities around imprecise dates in Party changes, and resolving the references of the form "Until elected for [other constituency]"

No we didn't.

I've heard rumours of structured data for this. I'll ask around and get back to you tomorrow.

Sigh. Government shenanigans mean it will be quite some time until the data (that does currently exist) is publicly available :headdesk:
